Welcome to World Cup Customer Capture System, a customer engagement platform operated by MIC Technologies (“MIC Technologies”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect personal information when users (both Merchants and Participants) access or interact with our platform.

1. Data Controller vs. Data Processor
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (such as CCPA or GDPR):
* The Participating Business (Merchant) is the “Data Controller” of the Participant’s information, deciding how the captured leads are used for their marketing.
* MIC Technologies acts as the “Data Processor” or “Service Provider,” operating the technology, generating redemption codes, and storing the data securely on behalf of the Merchant.

2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
* Participant Data: First and last name, email address, phone number (where applicable), alphanumeric prize redemption codes, and participation history.
* Merchant Data: Business name, owner contact details, billing information, and campaign configurations.
* Technical Data: Device information, IP address, browser type, operating system, and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
* Manage promotional campaigns, prize distributions, and redemption code generation.
* Deliver platform services, Merchant dashboards, and data export functionalities.
* Send transactional emails (e.g., prize winning confirmations).
* Ensure platform security and detect fraudulent activities.

4. Sharing with Participating Businesses
When a Participant enters their details into a specific Merchant’s campaign, that information is shared directly with that Merchant.
The Merchant may use this data for their own customer communications, promotional campaigns, and loyalty programs. Each Merchant is responsible for its own compliance with applicable privacy and anti-spam laws.

5. Marketing Communications and Opt-Out
By voluntarily providing contact information, Participants consent to receiving communications from the specific participating Merchant.
Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the “unsubscribe” instructions provided in the Merchant’s emails or by contacting the Merchant directly.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies to improve website functionality, analyze traffic, and ensure the gamification features (like the prize wheel) function correctly and prevent duplicate entries. Users may adjust browser settings to refuse cookies, though this may prevent the platform from working properly.

7. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

8. International Data Transfers
Information may be stored or processed on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using the platform, you consent to these international transfers.

9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information.
Participants wishing to delete their data from a Merchant’s marketing list should contact the Merchant directly. For data deletion from the core platform, please contact us.

10. Children’s Privacy
This platform is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
